About Me

Hi! I'm Anna Starling, a Mentor with over 5 years of in person and online teaching experience. I am here to help any mentees who would like to or need to learn Korean for a business trip, a leisure trip to South Korea, to interact with Korean customers or the Korean community, to improve on existing language skills and expand on cultural norms, or learn just as a hobby. If you are into kpop and kdramas, we can exchange interests and recommendations! I hold a Masters of Business Administration degree in Global Affairs with a concentration in Asia and specialize in helping students from 10 years and up, all the way to college students and adults. My sessions are interactive; I use pictures as visuals, stories, matching exercises, and practice dialogue to build confidence and help students enjoy the learning process. I am patient and understanding and believe in you! Outside of tutoring, I love writing and sketching. I believe students learn best when they feel understood and confident. You will see that learning to read and write in Korean and reach your personal goal might not be as hard as it looks!
